ภาพงานแต่งงานชุดนี้ถ่ายเมื่อตอนต้นเดือนที่ผ่านภายในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ หลังจากที่ทำพิธีหมั้นในตอนเช้าเสร็จสิ้น ทางเจ้าสาวและญาติเดินทางไปทำผมที่ร้านทำผมในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ส่วนเจ้าบ่าวตอนนี้พักผ่อนอยู่ที่โรงแรม เสร็จจากร้านทำผมก็เดินทางกลับมาที่โรงแรมเพื่อแต่งหน้าและแต่งตัวสำหรับงานช่วงเย็น แต่ก็ที่จะเดินทางไปในงานช่วงเย็น ได้ถ่ายภาพคู่ที่โรงแรมและออกไปถ่ายในตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ หลังจากนั้นก็กลับมาที่โรงแรมอีกรอบเพื่อเปลี่ยนเป็นชุดไทยสำหรับงานพิธี
พิธีแต่งงานจัดที่ร้านอาหาร 909 Home Mood Restaurant ซึ่งห่างจากโรงแรมวิลล่า สันผีเสื้อ (Villa San Pee Seua) ไม่มากนัก พิธีจัดในศาลาซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของร้านอาหาร โดยพิธีจะเป็นแบบล้านนา หลังจากเสร็จสิ้นพิธี ก็เดินถ่ายรูปกันหนิดหน่อยก่อนจะไปรับประทานอาหารริมแม่น้ำ ช่วงรับประทานอาหารจะได้รูปยากเป็นพิเศษ เพราะแทบไม่มีแสงเลย มืดขนาดที่มองอาหารที่วางบนโต็ะแทบไม่เห็น ภาพช่วงนี้ถ่ายโดยใช้ ISO12,800 1/25sec f/1.4 ซึ่งถ้าเป็นปีที่แล้ว จะไม่สามารถถ่ายออกมาได้คุณภาพแบบนี้ เพราะเทคโนโลยีกล้องไม่สามารถทำได้ นอกจากรับประทานอาหารแล้ว ก็ยังมีปล่อยโคมลอยและขึ้นบอลลูนที่เป็นเซอร์ไพรส์จากทางร้านอาหาร
สำหรับงานแต่งงานนี้ อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ก็จะมี Nikon D3S 2ตัว กับเลนส์อีก4ตัวคือ24 1.4, 50 1.4, 85 1.4 และ 105VR Macro ภาพงานเย็นทั้งหมดถ่ายโดยไม่ใช้ flash
These wedding photos was shot at the beginning of this month in Chiang Mai. After engagement ceremony in the morning, bride and her family members went to beauty salon in the town to have their hair done then we went back to hotel. Bride did her own makeup and her family helped her with the wedding dress. Before we proceed to the wedding ceremony, we took several couple shots at the hotel we were staying and some more in the town of Chiang Mai. Then we came back to the hotel again for the bride and groom to change into their traditional Thai wedding dress for the evening wedding ceremony.
The ceremony was held at 909 Home Mood Restaurant which is not very far from the hotel we were staying. The ceremony was done in a traditional Thai style. After the ceremony, we took couple more shots with the traditional Thai dress before we proceed to dinner. The restaurant had setup a table close to a river. It was very romantic but the problem was it was very very dark. You can barely saw the food infront of you. Photos during dinner was shot at ISO12,800 1/25sec f/1.4. A year ago, I wouldn’t have shot the way I did because the technology wouldn’t have made it possible. Apart from dinner, they also released sky lanterns and rode on a balloon.
I used two Nikon D3S and fours lenses to cover this wedding. The four lenses are 24 f/1.4, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.4 and 105VR Macro. All dinner photos were shot with available light (no flash).
